EghtesadOnline: Desalination projects worth $160 million are underway across the southern Bushehr Province with a total capacity of 160,000 cubic meters per day, of which 40% will soon go on stream, the head of the company said.

EghtesadOnline: The number desalination plants in southern Hormozgan Province has increased threefold in the past six years, but such development projects should be given higher priority as water scarcity looms in the province, managing director of the Hormozgan Water and Wastewater Company said.

EghtesadOnline: Sixty desalination plants produce 250,000 cubic meters of water per day in the coastal regions, namely Khuzestan, Hormozgan and Bushehr, deputy chief engineer with the National Water and Wastewater Engineering Company said.
