EghtesadOnline: Iran currently imports close to $100 million worth of raw materials, spare parts and equipment to manufacture elevators per year, which is half the amount imported in the fiscal 2018-19, according to the head of the National Elevator s, Escalators and Related Services Union.

EghtesadOnline: The production of elevators has currently declined from 70,000 units in the fiscal 2013-14 to between 25,000 and 30,000 per year.
