EghtesadOnline: The prices of soap, toothpaste, washing powder, dishwashing liquid and handwashing liquid have increased by 25%, says Bakhtiar Alam-Beigi, the head of Cleanser, Sanitary and Cosmetic Industry's Association, adding that other products of this industry will see a 20% rise in prices.

EghtesadOnline: The ban on the export of soap and other cleansers have been lifted until further notice, following a recent directive issued by the Ministry of Industries, Mining and Trade to the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration.

EghtesadOnline: About $200 million worth of detergents, cleansers , hygienic and cellulose products were exported in the last Iranian year (March 2018-19) and the figure is expected to increase to $300 million this year, a deputy minister of Industries, Mining and Trade said.
