EghtesadOnline: Maku Free Trade Zone in northwestern Iran will soon become the country’s major port of entry for importing livestock and meat, as per the preliminary agreement reached by the officials of FTZ and Trabzon, the largest city in the eastern Karadeniz region of Turkey.

EghtesadOnline: A total of 13.13 million tons of livestock and poultry feed worth $6.45 billion were imported during the first 11 months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022-Feb. 19), registering a 118% drop in terms of weight, but unchanged in terms of value compared with last year’s corresponding period, new data released by the Iran Feed Grain Importers Union show.
