Actress Alidoosti Boycotts Oscars Over Trump’s Visa Ban
EghtesadOnline: Iranian actress Taraneh Alidoosti , a co-star in the Iranian film 'The Salesman', an official nomination in the Best Foreign Language Film category in the 2017 Academy Award, said Thursday that she would boycott the Oscars ceremony to protest US President Donald Trump’s executive order on the temporary ban on visas to citizens from seven predominantly Muslim countries.
