EghtesadOnline: On Wednesday, the Iranian Cabinet approved the June 6 decision by the Supreme Labor Council on increasing workers’ monthly housing allowance from 1 million rials [$4.38] to 3 million rials [$13.16], according to Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare Minister Mohammad Shariatmadari.

EghtesadOnline: With the 27% rise, minimum wages have increased from 41,790,000 rials ($78) to 53,073,300 rials ($100) per month. Including all the fringe benefits, minimum wagers will earn 80 million rials ($151) per month in the current Iranian year (started March 21)
