EghtesadOnline: More than 3,000 tons of hand-woven carpets worth $269 million were exported from Iran during the eight months to Nov. 21, registering a 31% rise compared with the similar period of last year, the head of Iran National Carpet Center announced.

EghtesadOnline: More than $150 million worth of hand-woven carpets were exported from Iran during the first half of the current Iranian year (March 21-Sept. 22), registering a 13% rise compared with the corresponding period of last year, the head of Iran’s National Carpet Center said.

EghtesadOnline: Close to $350 million worth of Iranian hand-woven carpets were exported in the last fiscal year (March 2016-17), registering a 27% increase, the head of Iran’s National Carpet Center said.

EghtesadOnline: Iran exported $321 million worth of hand-woven carpets during the 11 months of the last Iranian year (March 20, 2016-February 18, 2017), the head of National Carpet Center said.

EghtesadOnline: China which had become a rival for the Iranian carpet in the international market, is now one of 10 major importers of Iran’s hand-woven carpets.
