EghtesadOnline: There seems to be no end in sight to Mobarakeh Steel Company’s expansive domination in the Iranian steel industry, as the country’s largest steelmaker has announced plans to buy a stake in Iran’s only wide-plate producer.

EghtesadOnline: The launch of the 1.5-million-ton/year expanded Saba Steel Plant and affiliated hot-rolled coil units in Isfahan Province has helped Iran’s largest steel producer Mobarakeh Steel Company increase its production capacity by 14%, MSC’s public relations manager said.

EghtesadOnline: Mobarakeh Steel Company (MSC), a target of regulatory measures by the EU, is shifting its focus to Arab markets, which received the bulk of the company’s exports in the four months since March 20.

EghtesadOnline: Mobarakeh Steel Company has set the target to sell 7 million tons of flat steel in the current fiscal year (March 2017-18), mostly in the local market, the company’s head of sales and marketing said.
