Iran’s famous sweet in Russia becomes 20 years old
EghtesadOnline: A famous and popular pastry of Russians named ‘Iranian nights cake’ which is one of the best-selling pastries in that country has celebrated its 20th birthday.
The famous pastry which is known as 'Persiskaya Notch' is sold in packages which is night blue in color and contains moon crescent, stars, mosque and minaret as a sign of being Islamic and also produced as Persian nights.
The Persian cake is presented in small and big cities across Russia, especially in Moscow and the surrounding areas of the Russian capital city, according to IRNA.
The cake has been produced in a factory to the Southeast of Moscow since 1995.
The 660-gram packs are sold at about 300 roubles or a little more than four dollars.
