Saudi, Israel common stances against Iran not a coincidence: FM spokesman

EghtesadOnline: Common stances assumed by Saudi Arabian foreign minister and Israeli defense minister is not a coincidence, Iranian foreign ministry spokesman emphasized pointing to their remarks at the Munich Security Conference.

Iranian foreign ministry spokesman Bahram Ghasemi made the comment in reaction to the anti-Iranian remarks made by Israeli officials and Saudi foreign minister at the Munich Security Conference.

“There are many evidence suggest the coordination and collaboration between Saudi and Israel on regional cases and these both regimes assume that they should provoke international atmosphere against our country in order to compensate their several failings and defeats,” ISNA quoted him as saying.

“Without a doubt the approach used by these two accomplices in fighting against oppressed people of the region is nothing new and suggests their painful desperation,” Ghasemi added.

He went on: “it is pity this Zionist official has obviously counted on the collaboration of a Muslim country for advancing its usual anti-Iranian policies”.

“Saudi foreign minister’s frequent projections and baseless claims about the sources of terrorism and Isis supporters can never allow the ideological, educational, financial and intelligence relation between Riyadh and Takfiri extremists whose crimes against innocent people of the region and the world are apparent, to be forgotten,” Ghasemi insisted.
