Fallujah victory big step towards complete defeat of Daesh: Al-Hakim

He made the remarks in a meeting with the President of the Center for Strategic Research Ali Akbar Velayati, IRNA reports.

Al-Hakim voiced hope that the operation for liberation of Mosul would start during this year and within the next four or five months.

Iraq was the only country which could have a strong and fast reaction against Daesh and stroked a heavy blow at them, he added.

The official said that despite diversity in Iraq political atmosphere, there is good understanding between political factions against Daesh.

Daesh is the enemy of world and all the Iraqi people regardless of their religion and ethnic group are against this common enemy, he noted.
