Iran's deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development Mohammad Saeed Izadi and Executive Director of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) Joan Clos met and conferred on the sidelines of the third Session of the Preparatory Committee for Habitat III on July 25-27 in Surabaya, Indonesia on Wednesday.
Izadi, during the discussion, elaborated on Iranian Ministry's plans for urban development, according to IRNA.
For his part, the UN official appreciated Iranian Ministry of Roads and Urban Development's policies on development.
