Quetta Police has announced that the explosion occurred in a public hospital in which a large number of lawyers in Quetta had gathered in protest to killing of their senior colleague in that city whose body had been transported to that hospital.

So, it is predicted that some of the dead are among the lawyers.

According to the officials of the central hospital in Quetta, the number of the dead may rise because some of the injured are in critical conditions.
