Amir-Abdollahian appreciates Russia for its role in Syrian developments
EghtesadOnline: Special Advisor to parliament speaker for international affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian appreciated Russia's perception of Syrian developments, saying that despite ceasefire in Syria and the government's full cooperation, the US is not committed to its obligations.
Noting that al-Nusra Front enjoys US' support, he said that White House has never targeted the terrorist group blacklisted by the United Nations.
Now, they have changed its name to save their terrorist friends, the official said, adding that the only goal of the US is to remove President Bashar Assad, legitimate president of the country, from power, according to IRNA.
He said that the US pays no attention to Syrian nation's plights and it only increases casualties in the region and Syria for electoral and political purposes.
Tehran and Moscow will strongly support the Syrian nation, army and legal president against the terrorists, Amir-Abdollahian said.
