Iran's non-oil exports to Europe up 21%

EghtesadOnline: Ian's non-oil exports to the European Union rose by 21 percent in the first five months of the current Iranian calendar year (started on March 21) compared to that in the same period last year, according to customs data.

Iran has exported some $643.333 million worth non-oil products to the European Union in the mentioned period, which is $109.533 million more than the figure in the preceding year. 

Iran's exports to Europe shrank considerably during sanctions times but trade relations between Tehran and the European countries have improved over the past months following the lifting of anti-Iran sanctions in January, reports IRNA. 

Italy is main buyer of Iranian products in Europe. Iran's exports to Italy reached $261.517 million in the five-month period from $226 million in the same period last year.
