Zarif also met with President of the International Committee of the Red Cross Peter Maurer on rendering emergency relief aid to war-stricken people in Yemen and Syria.
According to IRNA, Zarif is scheduled to chair the ECO foreign ministers meeting and deliver a keynote speech to the US Foreign Relations Council later in the day.
