Zarif, ex-Swedish FM confer in Tehran
EghtesadOnline: Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif held talks with visiting Carl Bildt who was the former prime minister and foreign minister of Sweden on Monday.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the Palestine issue, destructive role of Zionist regime in the region as well as the implementation of the nuclear deal also known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and also explored ways of fostering Iran and European Union (EU) relations.
According to IRNA, the latest regional and international developments, Syria in particular, sending humanitarian aid, establishing cease-fire and ending conflict in this country were among other topics that were discussed during the meeting.
Bildt held an official visit to Tehran in 2012 as Swedish foreign minister.
