Iran’s Yazd city, Hungary’s Veszprém to broaden cooperation
EghtesadOnline: Iranian Ambassador to Hungary Gholamali Rajabi Yazdi during a visit to the Hungarian city of Veszprém and meeting Sabou Tamesh underlined the need for implementing the contents of sisterhood contract signed between Veszprém and Yazd cities.
Rajabi said that Yazd City Council has agreed to name one of the city’s streets after Veszprém and also inclusion of Veszprém week in Yazd city’s calendar.
“During Veszprém week in Yazd, we can focus on the expansion of cooperation, including in cultural, artistic, economic and academic fields by setting up different exhibitions and pave the way for implementation of sisterhood agreement between the two countries,” he added.
According to IRNA, Rajabi Yazdi pointed to an invitation by Yazd mayor from Veszprém mayor to visit Yazd, and said, “In view of the two countries’ political will to expand all-out relations, the cities of Yazd and Veszprém will also expedite the pace of their cooperation more than before.
