Iran, Romania ink diplomatic visa exemption agreement

According to ISNA, Iran’s foreign minister who headed to Romania to hold talks with the country’s high-ranking officials, met with his counterpart today in Bucharest and inked two memoranda of Understandings (MoUs) aiming to continue political ties and cooperation.

Both ministers also agreed upon diplomatic visa waiver and signed an agreement on that as well.

In his stay in Romania, Iranian senior official in due to meet with Romanian President Klaus Iohannis, Prime Minister Dacian Ciolos and some top officials.

Zarif traveled to the country following a three-day trip by his Romanian counterpart which started on February 29.

Poland, Finland, Sweden and Latvia were previous destinations for Iran’s foreign minister.
