Iran, Russia discuss developing oil cooperation
EghtesadOnline: Deputy Oil Minister for International Affairs Amir-Hossein Zamani-Nia and Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Energy Pavel Zavalny reviewed developing oil and gas cooperation between the two countries in Moscow.
According to the Iranian embassy in Moscow, Zamani Nia, speaking on the sidelines the closing ceremony of the 4th Annual International Oil Conference, said that regarding Iran's oil and gas development plans, many opportunities have been prepared for Russian firms to participate in Iran's market.
Zavalny said that Russia enjoys the required facilities to boost oil and gas cooperation, IRNA reported.
Zamani Nia also visited Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Kirill Molodtsov, managers of Gazprom, Tatneft, Zarubezhneft and Rosgeologia.
Developing oil resources, gas liquefaction, implementing different oil and gas projects, investment, technology exchange and oil swap are among topics discussed on cooperation between the two countries.
