Iran, Russia underline cooperation between oil producing countries
EghtesadOnline: Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and Russian President Vladimir Putin in a telephone conversation called for cooperation between petroleum producing countries.
Iranian and Russian presidents in their conversation on Monday evening discussed the latest developments in the oil market.
Rouhani and Putin agreed to continue cooperation in the energy market, IRNA reported.
They underlined the necessity of coordination among all the petroleum producing countries at the international scene.
Iranian Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zangeneh departed Tehran for Vienna, Austria on Nov 29 (Tuesday) to attend the 171st ordinary session of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) on Nov 30.
The 171st OPEC session will be held in its permanent headquarters in the Austrian capital.
During its extraordinary session in Algeria on Sep 28, OPEC members decided to fix the production at the level of 32,500,000 bpd.
