Russian Iranologists' Conference opens on Dec 16

The event will be organized by Iran's Ambassador in Moscow Mehdi Sanaei, brining together over 100 Russian Iranologists and Persian language instructors.

According to IRNA, the upcoming event will discuss undertakings in the field of Iranology and Persian language instruction and present approaches for promotion of the two branches of study in the country.

The conference is to be hosted by Iranian envoy's residence in Moscow.

Russia is home to many Iranologists who have created valuable works on the Iranian art, culture, history and literature.
