Iran heavy oil registers record price

EghtesadOnline: Iran's heavy oil allocated the highest price increase in the week ended December 16 gaining 2 dollars-and 2 cents reached 51 dollars- and 70 cents a barrel.

According to the Petroleum Ministry, Iran's light oil price in the week ended December 16 gained one dollar-and 4 cents reached 51 dollars-and-86 cents a barrel.

Iran's light oil price average since beginning of current year was 40 dollars-and-60 cents-a barrel.

The average price for Iran's heavy oil was 38.68 dollars since beginning of current Iranian year of 1395, IRNA reported.

OPEC oil price basket in the week ended on December 16, was 51.94 dollars, registering one dollar-and 25 cents gain in comparison with the former week.

US WTI crude oil price in week ended on December 16 gained 96 cents reaching 51 dollars-and 93 cents a barrel.
