EghtesadOnline: A fourteen-member trade delegation headed by the minister of Rhineland-Palatinate State for economic affairs arrived in Alborz province on Monday.

“German delegation, aiming at reviewing ways to establish cooperation and develop trade and joint economic ties, has traveled to Alborz for the first time,” the Public Relations Office manager of Alborz Chamber of Commerce Reyhaneh Haqiqi said.

“Holding expert meetings between merchants and businessmen of Alborz and Rhineland-Palatinate and signing MoUs are among German delegation’s plans,” IRNA quoted her as saying.

“The delegation consists of officials and experts of industrial firms in agriculture, equipment, electronic stuff (cable), launching operational systems, irrigation technology and agricultural engineering, chemical mineral trade, legal consultations, electronic tool, information technology and aircraft security systems,” she said.

“Rhineland-Palatinate State has the biggest share in exports and the strongest industrial infrastructures in the Federal Republic of Germany (FRG),” she added.

“Developing and cementing commercial, industrial, mineral and agricultural relations with foreign countries require strengthening international ties with other countries,” Haqiqi said.

“Different delegations from Ukraine, Bosnia, Italy, Croatia, Poland, France and Estonia with the aim of establishing trade relations have so far visited Alborz province in post-JCPOA era,” she said.

Having about 3,500 big and small production and industrial units, Alborz is regarded as one of the industrial hubs in Iran.
