“We have always looked forward stability of relations with Pyongyang and we thank North Korea delegation which will participate in the International Conference in support of “Palestinian Intifada”, without doubt it is a very important issue and the presence of North Koreans in the event is valuable,” Ali Larijani said as referred to good relations between the two countries.
According to ISNA, he praised North Korea’s aids to Iran during the imposed war, adding that Iran’s approach was creating peace in Middle East and Korean Peninsula and Tehran was opposed to the provocative measures of US.
Larijani stressed on expanding and reinforcement of parliamentary cooperation between Iran and North Korea, saying that bilateral economic relation was not in a proper position and should be boosted.
ChoeThae-bok in his turn referred to widespread and long standing relation between the two countries and said: “Iran has an extensive role in supporting the goals of the Palestinian people, NAM, Syria and developing countries and without doubt International Conference in support of “Palestinian Intifada” will certainly run successfully in supporting Palestinian people”.
“Americans always bring pressure on independent states and impose sanctions on them and expansion of ties is an effective way to thwart the measures made by the US,” he added.
“Unfortunately Washington has always meddled in domestic affairs of countries. It poses military threats against Pyongyang because we are an anti-US country,” ChoeThae-bok continued.
He also stressed on developing bilateral relation particularly in parliamentary field.
