In his message to Emir of Kuwait Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah which was released on Sunday, President Rouhani expressed hope that both countries would develop relations in all fields, IRNA reported.
He also wished health and success for Kuwaiti Emir and dignity for people of Kuwait.
Kuwait National Day is celebrated on 25 February.
This holiday marks the day when Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah ascended to the throne in 1950.
