Non-Oil Trade With Netherlands Grows 66%

EghtesadOnline: Iran traded $1.52 billion worth of non-oil goods with the Netherlands in the last Iranian year (ended March 20, 2018), which was 66.15% more compared to the year before, making the European country Iran’s 12th biggest trading partner.

As per the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration’s data, Iran exported 169,283 tons of commodities worth $84.79 million to the Netherlands last year, posting a 33.90% and 33.52% decrease in tonnage and value respectively year-on-year. The exports mainly included low-density oil and related products, floorings, industrial salt and pistachio. The Netherlands exported 2.81 million tons of goods worth $1.43 billion to Iran during the period under review, up 114.44% and 82.25% in tonnage and value respectively YOY. Iran mainly imported air-ends, screw air compressor, soybean and field corn from the Netherlands during the period, Financial Tribune reported.
