TEDPIX Starts Trade Week at 178,841

EghtesadOnline: Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index lost 2,218.69 points or 1.23% on Saturday to end trading at 178,841.3.

About 2.15 billion shares valued at $57.98 million changed hands at TSE for the day.

Trading at TSE and Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.

Shoga Company was the biggest winner as its shares went up 4.99% to 6,631 rials per share, according to Financial Tribune.

Behshahr Industrial Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies and went down 6.53% to 2,520 rials per share.

Pars Petrochemical Co. contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Tamin Petroleum and Petrochemical Investment Company, and Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Co.

Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Shazand Petrochemical Co., and Mobile Telecommunication Company of Iran.

The Price Index lost 646.22 points to close at 52,091.9.

The First Market Index was down 2,090.70 points to post 132,466.3. Second Market Index decreased by 2,209.64 points to reach 352,813.4.

The Industry Index went down by 1,969.56 points to register 163,669.4. Free Float Index was down 2,090.88 points to hit 188,275.71.

The TSE 30 went down 122.33 point to settle at 8,936 and the TSE 50 ended 99.43 points lower to finish at 7,923.7.

IFX Down 2.28%

Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX lost 47.15 points or 2.28% to close Saturday trade at 2,018.

About 673.93 million securities valued at $26.82 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Avicenna Laboratories Inc. had the highest number of traded shares and trade value as 43.13 million of its shares worth $1.41 million were traded.

KBC Co., Iranian Reinsurance Co., and Rail Seir Kowsar Co. registered the highest value increase.

Kerman Development and Construction Investment Company, Caspian Tamin Pharmaceutical Company, and Pegah Golestan Dairy Company suffered the biggest decline.

Zagros Petrochemical Co., Middle East Mines Industries Development Holding Company, and Esfahan Steel Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
