According to EghtesadOnline, the prevailing stagnation in the housing market has turned into a major problem and challenge for the housing sector these days.

Some economic experts and real estate agents claim that the housing market is currently searching for a way out of this critical situation.

They say: "If we want to analyze the exit from the housing market, we should mention that if the dollar rate surpasses 80,000 tomans and energy prices also increase, only then can we say that the housing market is ready to emerge from stagnation."

Some active participants in the housing market have criticized the current situation, stating that they have not registered even one buying or selling contract for several months.

"Davood Beigi Nejad," the First Vice President of the Real Estate Advisors Union, responded to the question of whether it is true that some real estate agents have not engaged in contract registration this year by saying: "One of the reasons for the stagnation and lethargy in the buying and selling market is due to the uncertainty faced by real estate advisors. Various systems have been established in the housing market, which has led many licensed real estate agents in Tehran to be confused."

He continued: "If you conduct field visits to the housing market and ask most real estate advisors in Tehran, you will find that some agents have not registered even one buying or selling contract for eight months of the past year."

The First Vice President of the Real Estate Advisors Union responded to the question of whether we are witnessing a deepening recession in the housing market and if it can be predicted that housing prices will remain stable or undergo significant changes until the end of the year: "The depth of stagnation in the housing market and people's reluctance to purchase completed units can send a message to the housing market and even to housing applicants that no significant price changes will occur until the end of this year."

Beigi Nejad added: "It seems that genuine and consumer-oriented housing applicants should not wait for news and developments. If they truly intend to buy a property, the best approach to counter any potential risks is to enter the housing market and purchase their desired property."
