Pakistani PM supports Iran's right to nuclear energy

In the news conference, which was held after the two officials chaired a high-level meeting of the delegations of the two countries, Pakistani Prime Minister said that "We are ready to talk to India, but if they choose war, we will defend ourselves."

Sharif added later that, "We support Iran's right to enrich uranium."

President Pezeshkian, for his part, said that "Iran-Pakistan border should be free from insecurity and the terrorist groups."

"We share the views with Pakistan to improve border security and combat security threats," the Iranian president further said. /Mehr
