US’ Failure to Leash Isreal to Trigger Iran’s Harsher Reaction: Pezeshkian

In a telephone conversation with the sultan of Oman on Monday, President Pezeshkian cautioned against the consequences of the Israeli regime’s acts of adventurism in the region.

“If the US government does not prevent the spread of insecurity to the region by bridling that savage (Israeli) regime, Iran will be obliged to give heavier and more painful responses beyond what has occurred so far,” the president warned.

He said the Americans had explicitly admitted during the recent indirect nuclear talks that they control and influence the Zionist regime and had even claimed that Israel would not take any action without their permission.

Iran believes that the Zionist regime’s criminal aggression against the Islamic Republic would have been impossible without the green light and support from the US, Pezeshkian added.

He stated that the enemies have made a miscalculation about the Iranian people’s capacities, strength and solidarity.

The repetition of the acts of aggression against Iran will expose the enemies to mush harsher responses, the president warned.

The Israeli regime attacked a number of residential neighborhoods of Tehran as well as military and nuclear sites in other parts of Iran in the early hours of June 13.

Several top military commanders, nuclear scientists, and dozens of civilians have been martyred in the strikes.

The Iranian Armed Forces have launched several rounds of retaliatory missile attacks against Israeli targets during the past four days.

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei said after the Israeli aggression that the Zionist regime “has made a big mistake, a grave error, and committed a reckless act.”

“By God’s grace, the consequences of this will bring that regime to ruin,” the Leader warned, adding, “Our Armed Forces are ready, and the country's officials and all the people are behind the Armed Forces. Today, similar messages have been issued by all the various political factions and numerous groups throughout the country. Everyone feels that we must give a strong response to the evil, despicable, terrorist Zionist identity.”/tasnim
