Top General Lauds Police’s Close Coordination with Iranian Armed Forces

Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi praised the Police forces for their pivotal role in national security and social stability through “strategic interaction” with the other military units and security organizations.
The top general on Saturday sent a message to the commander of the Law Enforcement Command of the Islamic Republic of Iran (FARAJA), Brigadier General Ahmadreza Radan, on the occasion of FARAJA Week.
"Today, FARAJA embodies a community-centered, people-based police force aligned with the principles of the Islamic Revolution. By leveraging soft power and intelligent authority, it has not only contributed to the public-oriented provision of security and the enhancement of the Islamic Republic’s social capital, but also played an unparalleled role in strengthening the sense of security and public trust," Major General Mousavi said.
He also highlighted FARAJA’s strategic and effective actions across multiple mission areas, such as its efforts during the 12-day war imposed by the Zionist regime and its supporters in June, its success in identifying and apprehending foreign mercenaries, spies, and infiltrators, in preventing crimes intelligently, addressing social disorders and corruption, combating smuggling of goods and narcotics, and securing borders and managing public order.
He further emphasized that one of FARAJA’s key strengths is its strategic synergy and interaction with other armed forces and security and intelligence agencies.
This collaboration has enhanced the deterrent capacity and national power of the Islamic Republic of Iran, transforming sustainable security into a realized expectation for the nation’s citizens, General Mousavi underscored./tasnim
