Iraq’s top security official arrives in Iran for talks

Iraqi National Security Advisor Qassem al-Araji arrived in Iranian capital of Tehran on Monday at the head of a high-ranking political and security delegation.

Iraq’s top security official, who has traveled to Tehran at the official invitation of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Larijani, is scheduled to hold talks with some of political officials of the country.

In this visit, the interior minister of Iraq’s Kurdistan region and head of Neighboring Countries Department of Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs will accompany Al-Aeraji./mehr
