Iran’s exports to Eurasia hit $1.2b in 7 months: TPOI
An official at Trade Promotion Organization of Iran (TPOI) says the country exported $1.2 billion worth of goods to the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) member states in the 1st seven months of the current Iranian calendar year.
Secretary of EAEU Desk of the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran (TPOI) Elham Haji-Karimi stated that $1.261 billion worth of non-oil products was exported from the country to the member states of the union between March 21 to October 22, 2025.
In this period, Iran’s maximum products were exported to the Republic of Belarus, followed by Armenia, she underlined.
She, who is also the head of Secretariat for Iran-EAEU Free Trade Agreement (FTA), emphasized that Iran has high potentials to export its products to the lucrative EAEU export target market, especially in the commodity groups including car, automotive parts, textiles and apparels, medicine and medical equipment, food industry, etc.
Elsewhere in her remarks, the TPOI official pointed to the details of 4th Eurasia International Trade Exhibition, which is slated o be held in Iran from February 1 to 4, 2026, adding, “Trade delegations from Asian and regional countries will participate in the prestigious exhibition, and a high-level meeting will be held with the participation of ministers and high-ranking officials to discuss major issues of trade and economic cooperation, such as Free Trade Agreement (FTA), etc.
The 4th edition of Eurasia International Trade Exhibition is a prestigious expo which will provide a suitable opportunity for the Iranian economic activists, traders and producers and also member states of the union to get more familiarity with the existing capacities in line with depending the trade cooperation with Iran more than before, she added./mehr
