Israeli Deception Leaves No Room for Trust, Iranian Spokesman Says

Esmaeil Baqaei made the comments at his weekly press conference on Monday, where he responded to reports about possible mediation by Russian President Vladimir Putin between Iran and the Israeli regime.

Baqaei said that aside from media discussions, Iran and its Armed Forces are safeguarding the country’s territorial integrity and have no intention of trusting statements made by the Zionist regime.

He noted that the Israeli regime’s deceptive behavior has already been proven, adding that strengthening preparedness and maintaining constant vigilance to defend Iran’s territory are of paramount importance.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Baqaei addressed the media hype and psychological operations directed against Iran, saying that psychological warfare and media campaigns are part of a broader strategy by the US and the Zionist regime to exert pressure on the country.
