Iran’s Mazandaran exports 60k tons of citrus fruits in 9 mos

An official at Agricultural Organization of Mazandaran province says over 60,000 tons of kiwi and citrus fruits has been exported to the foreign target markets in the first nine months of the current Iranian calendar year.

Head of Agricultural Jihad Organization of Mazandaran province Asadollah Teymouri Yansari stated that these agricultural products were exported from this province to various countries including India, Eurasian region and also Persian Gulf littoral states.

Turning to the latest situation of export of horticultural products from this province, he noted that over 25,000 tons of kiwi fruits have been exported to the foreign target markets since the beginning of the current Iranian calendar year (started March 21, 2025).

Referring to the export of citrus fruits, Yansari added that more than 10,000 tons of tangerine and also over 24,000 tons of orange have been exported from Mazandaran province to other countries.

He termed Eurasian countries and Persian Gulf littoral states as the most important destinations for export of kiwi and citrus fruits./mehr
