Army Chief Hails Iran’s Indestructible Defense Power

Iranian Army Commander Major General Amir Hatami, said on Saturday that the Islamic Republic's defense capabilities are now fully indigenous and impossible to eliminate, warning enemies against waging a hybrid war.

Delivering his remarks this morning during the 18th Hazrat Ali Akbar (AS) Festival for Outstanding Young Conscripts of the Armed Forces, Major General Hatami stated that Iran's defense power today is a native capability that cannot be destroyed.

He stressed that in both missile and air defense domains, the country enjoys a far superior position and higher capability compared to the 12-year war imposed by the Zionist regime.

The Army commander added that the enemy must become disillusioned with the idea of acting against Iran.

He explained that such disillusionment occurs only when Iran possesses a level of strength that convinces any aggressor it will suffer serious consequences if it transgresses.

Major General Hatami emphasized that achieving this requires the unity, cohesion, empathy, and cooperation of everyone.

He continued by acknowledging that the nation must build the country and is fully aware of its significant challenges.

The commander noted that, like all nations, Iran must resolve its livelihood and economic difficulties and overcome its problems.

However, he insisted that these internal issues are entirely separate from the matter of confronting the enemy.

Major General Hatami pointed out that the presence of the young conscripts at the ceremony sends a clear message to adversaries that the nation stands ready to defend the country.

He described the current situation as engagement in a major cognitive war, which forms a large part of the enemy's hybrid warfare strategy.

The Army chief explained that enemies are actively seeking to create divisions among the Iranian people by exploiting virtual space and media outlets.

"They issued the order for killing and attacking the nation with a big lie; they took the dear lives of our young people, our teenagers, our women and girls, our boys and men, and led them to the slaughterhouse, and today, with utter shamelessness, they are seeking in virtual space to pin this accusation on the Islamic Republic; this is a big lie, this is part of the cognitive, hybrid, and media war that the enemy has launched against the Iranian nation," Major General Hatami stated.
