British ambassador summoned to Foreign Ministry

Kazem Gharibabadi, deputy foreign minister for legal and international affairs, spoke with Noorullah Noori, Afghanistan’s minister of borders and tribal affairs, as part of ongoing engagement between the two neighbors on border-related issues.
During the call, the two sides emphasized the importance of maintaining border cooperation, particularly the continuation of work to update border documents and markers. They also agreed to accelerate the holding of joint technical and legal meetings.
According to the agreement reached, the next meeting of senior Iranian and Afghan border officials will be held in Iran in the next Iranian calendar year./irna
