Leader’s guidance and people’s steadfastness steered Iran to victory in war: VP Aref

In a meeting of the Reconstruction Headquarters in Tehran on Monday, Aref congratulated Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei on the victory over the enemies, saying that his path is the continuation of the martyred Leader.

Referring to the finalization of the memorandum of understanding (MoU) on ending the US and Israeli war on all fronts, the vice president also appreciated the efforts of the country's negotiating team under Parliament Speaker Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf.

He expressed hope that the MoU would lead to the lifting of cruel sanctions and blockades, saying that although the US was the one behind these sanctions, aggression, and crimes but European countries followed suit despite claiming to be uphold human rights.

Aref also commended the Armed Forces and other security apparatuses for becoming a source of honor and dignity for Iran, by dictating their authority to the American and Israeli enemies, relying on domestic technical and deterrence capabilities.

Appreciating the enthusiastic presence of the people in the streets, the First Vice President described the unity and cohesion for 106 nights unique moments in the history of the Islamic Revolution.

He continued by pledging the role of the government during the critical times, saying that President Masoud Pezeshkian and his administration, in particular, acted intelligently, courageously, and accurately in serving the people despite all the difficulties.

Stating that the government shone brightly in this national test, Aref said the entire executive apparatus, service-providing institutions, and various sectors of the country worked round the clock to prevent any disruption in providing services to the people./irna
