IRGC Reaffirms Allegiance to Leader, Vows to Respond to Aggression

In a statement issued on Monday in response to the Leader's recent strategic message, the IRGC described his guidance as a roadmap for defending the country's independence and dignity.

The IRGC pledged to continue enhancing Iran's defense and deterrence capabilities, maintaining full military readiness, expanding intelligence capabilities, and advancing scientific and technological capacities to safeguard the country against external threats.

The IRGC also vowed to deliver an "unforgettable lesson" to the United States should it persist in aggression and adventurism against Iran, saying any response would be aimed at deterring future attacks.

The statement further stressed that preserving national unity and social cohesion is among the IRGC's foremost responsibilities, saying Iran's defensive strength is inseparable from domestic solidarity.

The IRGC reaffirmed its commitment to protecting Iran's security, independence, and the ideals of the Islamic Revolution, pledging to stand by the Leader's directives.

Last week, Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei hailed the massive public participation in the funeral ceremonies of the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, and urged Iranians to preserve national unity in the face of US hostility.
