Momeni: Pakistani Interior Minister Was Carrying Messages / Talks to Be Held to Fulfill MoU Conditions
At the end of the Pakistani Interior Minister's trip to Tehran, the Minister of Interior emphasized: "From Sunday, the negotiations to implement the clauses of the memorandum of understanding and fulfill its conditions will be resumed, and I think that in any case, it is a good process and we are moving in a good direction."
Eskandar Momeni, the Minister of Interior, while explaining the details of the trip of Mohsin Naqvi, the Minister of Interior of Pakistan, to Tehran, said: "This trip was an intensive and very good trip. In addition to the related topics between the two ministries, this trip included reviewing regional issues and developments, implementing the clauses of the memorandums of understanding, and also continuing the negotiations that are underway in Switzerland."
He further emphasized that the Pakistani Interior Minister was also carrying messages during this trip, stating: "On the whole, it is evaluated as a good trip. God willing, the achievements of this trip and the implementation of the memorandums of understanding will be perceptible and tangible for the dear people of the country."
The Minister of Interior further specified: "With the follow-ups that have taken place, the negotiations will likely resume from Sunday and will begin for the implementation of the clauses of the memorandum of understanding and the fulfillment of its conditions. I think that in any case, it is a good process and we are moving in a good direction. God willing, its details and results will be informed to the people by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the future."
Pakistani Interior Minister: Issues Are on a Good and Correct Path
Mohsin Naqvi, the Minister of Interior of Pakistan, also stated at the end of this trip: "This is the seventh time that I have come to Iran during this period. I thank Mr. Momeni. The issues are on a good and correct path, and we hope that today's meeting in Switzerland will also be successful."
In another part of his remarks, the Minister of Interior of Pakistan appreciated the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the Minister of Interior, Eskandar Momeni, and also the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Seyed Abbas Araghchi.
Pointing to the views of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Naqvi specified: "Dr. Araghchi has very broad viewpoints, and the path he has chosen for the negotiations and is moving it forward is a good path. Iran has a very good and realistic leader. Also, under the special supervision and guidance of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei, all affairs are progressing well and the future of Iran, God willing, will be a bright and successful future."
