DM: Iran influential power in restoring regional security
EghtesadOnline: Defense Minister Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan underlined that Iran is an influential power for restoration of security in the region and the world.
'Today the Islamic Republic of Iran is a serious influential power in restoration of security and political relations in the region and the world,' Brigadier General Dehqan said, addressing Isfahan province's administrative council on Thursday.
According to IRNA, he underlined that Iran has accepted no restrictions for its missile program in the implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), and said, 'In the last resolution of the UN Security Council there has only been mentioned that Iran will do no activity in the field of designing missiles with capabilities of carrying nuclear warheads.'
Brigadier General Dehqan also pointed to Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei who emphasized that the Americans do not fulfill their commitments and do things to restrict Iran's moving towards sciences and technology as well as military and missile capabilities.
'But we have proved that Iran is the cause of regional stability and peace; today we are carrying the burden of fighting the current looking to crease insecurity in the country.
