Parliamentarians request impeachment of Education Minister
EghtesadOnline: Majlis (Parliament) Speaker Ali Larijani said that the text of impeachment bid for the Minister of Education Ali Asghar Fani has been presented to the Majlis presiding board on Wednesday.
If the impeachment text does achieve the legal quorum and none of the lawmakers withdraw, it will receive confirmation, Larijani said at the Majlis open session this morning.
On August 2, Fani attended the Majlis session to answer the parliamentarians' questions but failed to persuade them, according to IRNA.
