Iranian Gov't to introduce single exchange rate by year end: Minister
EghtesadOnline: Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs Ali Tayyebnia announced that the government has planned to reach a single rate of foreign exchange by the end of the Iranian calendar year (started March 20).
Tayyebnia told reporters on Saturday that the government insists on fulfillment of that plan and will do it by the end of the year, reports IRNA.
Traditionally, businesses have been trading Iran’s national currency at two rates; one being traded by CBI and the other one set by money changers.
