Iran, Pakistan kick off joint naval exercise
EghtesadOnline: Iranian and Pakistani naval forces on Saturday evening started a joint naval exercise in the Pakistani territorial waters near the port of Karachi.
The Iranian Navy’s 43rd flotilla which docked at Karachi port on September 27 represents Iran in the naval rescue and relief operation.
Lavan logistic warship, Falakhan and Khanjar missile-launching vessels and Konarak warship as well as an A-B Helicopter represented Iran at the drill, reports IRNA.
Iran and Pakistan had held a joint naval exercise in the Strait of Hormuz in 2014.
