Mogherini, Zarif discuss regional developments on phone
EghtesadOnline: Federica Mogherini, the European Union’s Foreign Policy Chief in a recent telephone conversation with Mohammad Javad Zarif, has discussed latest regional developments with the Iranian Foreign Minister, Iran's foreign ministry says.
Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qasemi said on Monday that Mogherini and Zarif reviewed latest regional developments including the Syrian issue during their talk on the phone.
According to IRNA, Dutch Foreign Minister Bert Koenders has also talked with Zarif on the phone Monday evening.
The two officials discussed bilateral ties and latest developments regarding the crisis in Syria.
