Zarif: Present world situation apt for changing threats into chances
EghtesadOnline: Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said the international community was presently passing through a period of transition which made situation quite fluid giving everyone the chance to turn threats into chances.
Addressing an international gathering on Islamic World Geopolitical Crises here on Sunday, he said the bipolar world situation was a rather static one while the conditions now are quite fluid and undetermined offering huge possibilities of changing threats into chances and vice versa.
He said the present world was facing challenges which were of universal nature and were not exclusive to the Islamic world, according to IRNA.
The foreign minister further said that today actors are multitudes and they are acting beyond governments in a way that now governments are not the sole players in international arena.
