Saudi is in delusion/ Iran not concerned about Trump: FM spokesman
EghtesadOnline: “Saudi Arabia is wrong and still in a delusion,” Iranian foreign ministry spokesman Bahram Ghasemi insisted, adding that these matters have challenged Riyadh in the past.
“Saudi’s stance toward Iran in recent years has always been from ignorance and lack of correct information about the situation in the region and Iran.” Bahrami Said as pointing to Emirates general stances which according to them” We can’t expect too much from partly because the country is united with Riyadh”.
“If US president Donald Trump and his rhetoric cause Saudi, Emirates and other countries change their stance toward Iran, should recommend them not to make such a historical mistake as developments happen fast and future is not predictable but Iran’s position in the region is clear and it is their interest to adjust their policies with the reality,” ISNA quoted Ghasemi as saying.
Iran’s fundamental policy is to have moderate and fair relation with its neighbors and regional countries. Foreign governments and even Israel don’t want Islamic countries have a good relationship,” the spokesman emphasized adding “depending on Trump’s type of speech and stance it felt that he didn’t take his responsibility seriously and somehow he is still continuing his campaign”.
