5.7 magnitude earthquake hits Iran’s North Khorasan province
EghtesadOnline: A 5.7 magnitude earthquake in Iran’s North Khorasan province killed two people and injured 400 people.
The quake, which struck at 22:31 local time on Saturday in and around the city of Bojnurd, North Khorasan province, killed a 54-year-old woman and a teenage girl, ISNA reported.
According to Morteza Salimi, the head of the Red Crescent Society’s rescue and relief organization, the earthquake hit 3 cities and 97 villages of the province which 14 villages suffered up to 70 percent damage.
