EghtesadOnline: The main index of Tehran Stock Exchange, TEDPIX, gained 7,727.15 points or 0.53%, Tuesday to end trading at 1,473,701.9.
About 13.74 billion shares valued at 162.27 trillion rials ($649.08 million) changed hands for the day.
Osve Pharmaceutical Company was the biggest winner as its shares went up 7.3% to 28,370 rials per share.
Esfahan Sugar Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies and lost 8.23% to reach 210,340 rials per share.
Social Security Investment Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines Company, Iran Khodro Company and Mapna Group.
Tamin Petroleum and Petrochemical Investment Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company, Esfahan Oil Refining Company and Mobarakeh Steel Company.
The Industry Index was up 6,814.97 points or 0.53% to register 1,293,385.95. The Free Float Index was up 11,439.63 points to hit 2,015,930.31. TSE 30 went up 379.56 points to settle at 78,366.83 and the TSE 50 ended 285.68 points higher to finish at 57,616.89.
IFX Up 0.59%
Iran Fara Bourse main index, IFX, gained 107.68 points or 0.59% to close Tuesday trade at 18,369.41.
About 4.18 billion securities valued at 74.17 trillion rials ($296.68m) were traded at the junior exchange for the day.
MahTaab Kahnouj Power Generation Company had the highest number of traded shares as 516.72 million of its shares worth 1.75 trillion rials ($7m) were traded.
Marun Petrochemical Company, Sepehr Saderat Financial Group Investment Company, Omid Taban Hour Energy Management Company and Zagros Petrochemical Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
Shahid Tondgooyan Petrochemical Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Esfahan Steel Company, Saba Tamin Investment Company and Minoo Industrial Group Company.
